1. I’m open to new ideas. Maybe I have some fixed ways of thinking about some things, but I hope I’m flexible enough to recognize when I haven’t thought something through. Show me better and unusual ways of thinking, and I’ll give them my full attention.

2. I honestly believe it’s safe and right to hold certain traditional ideas, because they have stood the test of time, and because they hold the promise of saving me. Besides, going against traditional ideas might mean I’ll be judged.
